Apple acquires Silicon Color
Silicon Color — makers of FinalTouch color correction software — note on their Web site that their technology has been acquired by Apple.
Silicon Color developed professional color finishing software for film and video editors working on Macs. Silicon Color’s products had been used by The Discovery Channel and other cable television studios and had also been used to color-correct promos for X-Men 3: The Last Stand.
